Bladder Irritants
Caffeine, alcohol, carbonated beverages, spicy foods, citrus, acidic foods, dairy. These are a few examples of substances that are known to be bladder irritants. These foods and drinks can irritate the lining around the bladder and increase your symptoms of urinary urgency, frequency, and leakage. This does not necessarily mean you need to eliminate these completely, but knowledge is power! See if any of these increase your symptoms and you can plan accordingly.
